LYING
Last night, I watched Discovery Series titled Morgan Freeman Through The Wormhole and it discussed about lying. It was pretty interesting.
It described our brain is like the aisles on the library, and when we were asked about something, we picked the "book" about information on the different aisle on our brain library. The interesting part is, when we are lying, we need to pick more "books" to complete our lying.
For example, if we were asked about what were we eat last night, and we want to tell the truth, we just need to pick the book about memory what we ate at that time. But if we want to lie, we need to pick a lot of books, about food, about where the restaurant is, the price, the taste, etc. And it's all scattered all over our brain library. It will take longer time to answer the question, because we need to make a perfect fake story with all that books. The series also stated, the more we lie, the brain will create shortcuts among those aisles to get more information faster.
To be honest, I am a frequent liar. I lied a lot. A lot enough until I know whether other people are lying or not. It is true. I even can feel the lied even before they say it. People who lied will have a slight time of thinking when they want to lie. Their voice is also lower then usual, and also have some vibration on their tone. I sensed it. That's one of the advantages of being a frequent liar.
You met some of your friends, and they like your sunglass. They look for it closely, and they say it is original. You started to doubt whether it is a replica or it's a genuine.
You met your colleagues at your office. They also like it. They look it closely, and say it is a genuine. Now you say to yourself it is a genuine despite of you bought it as a replica. Since that time, you became more proud of wearing it, since you have said to yourself it is a genuine ray-ban.
